Staksrud, ElisabethElisabeth Staksrud, PhD, is an associate professor at the Department of Media and Communication, University of Oslo, Norway, and deputy chair of the Norwegian National Committee for Research Ethics in the Social Sciences and the Humanities (NESH). Her research interests evolve around children and online risk, regulation and rights, online censorship and governance and research ethics. She is in the management group of the EU Kids Online project and a former Berkman Center Research fellow. Her recent books include Children in the online world: Risk, regulation, rights (2013, Ashgate), Digital mobbing (2013, Kommuneforlaget) and Towards a better internet for children (edited with Brian O’Neill and Sharon McLaughlin, 2013, Nordicom).
