Ximena Loza Candia is an accomplished development professional with over 20 years of experience in humanitarian and development contexts. She holds a degree in Social Communication and a Master’s in Gender and Development, complemented by diplomas in International Relations, Women’s Human Rights, Indigenous Peoples’ Rights, and Fundraising for Social Organizations and Projects. Her academic journey spans institutions in Bolivia, Germany, and the Netherlands.
Throughout her career, Ximena has served in key roles including Gender Specialist, Program Manager, and Advocacy, Resource Mobilization, and Business Development Specialist, working with the United Nations and international NGOs. She currently leads ChildFund Bolivia as the Country Director, where she continues to champion children’s rights and inclusive development.
