Ina Verzivolli is a Child Protection Officer at UNICEF Albania. She holds a Master’s degree in Development Studies from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies of Geneva. Her interests and expertise include child protection system building, protection of children from sexual abuse and exploitation and protection of children in the digital environment. She has been involved in child rights at the national, regional and the international level.
Previously Ina Verzivolli was the Chairperson of the Albanian State Agency for the Protection of Child Rights where she led the work for the revision of the legal and policy framework in the area of child rights and child protection in Albania. She was also the Chairperson of the Council of Europe ad-hoc Committee on the Rights of the Child (2016-2017) and the Vice-chair of the Lanzarote Committee for the protection of children from sexual abuse and exploitation.
