Maria José Ravalli is head of communication and social mobilisation in UNICEF Argentina. She has 14 years’ experience in international development organisations, in The World Bank as public information coordinator for the Southern Cone and the Pan-American Health Organization as social communications adviser for Latin America & Caribbean. She has a Master’s in Political Marketing, a specialisation in Leadership from the University of Pretoria and a BA in Public Relations. Maria José is fluent in English, French, Portuguese and Spanish. During her career she has conducted surveys, promoted innovative research and developed publications on digital citizenship, media literacy and ICT and vulnerable groups. She has co-coordinated the network Conectados al Sur with the Berkman Center at Harvard University, UNICEF and the Ministry of Justice. She has served on the Advisory Board of Connect Equality.
