Daniel Kardefelt-Winther has an MSc in Information Systems and a PhD in Media & Communications from the London School of Economics (LSE). He is a quantitative researcher with experience in survey design and multivariate statistics. He works at UNICEF’s Office of Research as the research coordinator for Global Kids Online, supporting country partners on-site with training, survey adaptation, and fieldwork.
His prior research has primarily focused on problematic use of technology, with special interest in cognitive, behavioural and health outcomes following excessive internet use and online gaming. He holds a post-doctoral research position at the Department of Clinical Neuroscience at Karolinska Institutet in Sweden.
